The 2009 Pooches on the Parkway was a tremendous success!  Thank you to everyone that participated and enjoyed a beautiful Sunday afternoon.  A special Thank You to our sponsors and volunteers for their support.    

Pooches on the Parkway is planned and organized by volunteers and raises funds for the benefit of the Blue Springs Off-Leash Dog Park. 

The 3rd Annual Pooches on the Parkway was a tremendous success!  Thank you for your support!  We hope to see everyone again next year, Sunday May 17th, 2009 for the 4th Annual Pooches on the Parkway.

Recent Improvements to the Dog Park:  

• Interior fencing and gate to separate the pond from the main park
• A bulletin board for announcements
• Temporary fencing surrounding the pond
• A small dog area in the northeast corner of the park (under construction)

These improvements are funded by RUFF, with support from Pooches on the Parkway participants and sponsors.

The Chili Dog Supper was a huge success, and we couldn’t have done it without our wonderful RUFF volunteers, silent auction donations, the Search & Rescue demonstration, our DJ, and the support of the Blue Springs Parks & Recreation department.
